Webripples.com is a global community facility that enables individuals and organizations to express their ideas, opinions and recommendations, not simply to have them disappear into the “www mist”, but to actually achieve a result in the form of usable feedback and statistics from members of their local, national and international community.
Webripples.com and all related URLS and Domains, is wholly owned by Ripple Craft Pty Ltd, a registered private Proprietary Limited Company based in the state of Victoria, Australia.
Ripple Craft Pty Ltd is wholly owned by a husband and wife team. We have no affiliations or financial links with any other company or organization.

When you become a Member of Webripples.com
When you become a Member of the site, you are able to fully participate in all of it’s content, including:-

• Vote for or against all Webripples on the site
• Attach Video, voice or web links to your Webripple to support your argument
• Contributing your own comments on any of the Webripples on the site
• Set up your personal Profile with personal and contact information you wish to share, including video, voice or web links to your personal website.
• Add details of your history, training, clubs and associations to your profile, for the benefit of other readers, and to encourage positive votes for what you have written in your Webripples and Comments
• Use the site tools to link back to nearly 40 other sites you participate with, including Face Book, My Space, Rate It All, Digg, Linkedin, Twitter, etc.
• Share content with friends, either directly from each Webripple or as a general “Refer A Friend” from the main site navigation.

Once you have completed the Registration Form you will be asked to provide a password of your choosing. Each time you log on to the site you will be asked for your User Name (your email address) and your secret Password.
We will never disclose your password to any third party. No employee or officer of Webripples.com will ever request it from you. If you forget your password, the only way you can retrieve it is to request an automated email alert at the Log-In facility. This is your security in knowing that only you can contribute your direct entries or edit your Profile information.
You are now ready to post Webripples, Comments and your own personal Profile.
Every Webripple or Comment on the site will display the chosen name, and the State/Country of residence of the author.
Each time you draft a Webripple or Comment, you will have the option of attaching your real name (the first and last name you supplied when you registered) or your “Alternative” or “Signature” name. (Take care to keep your choice a secret. Do NOT use a name that is inappropriate or offensive or infringes other’s rights – refer Terms Of Use here)
If you want the broader Internet community to know your real name, you can elect to have it shown.
If you would prefer to remain anonymous, you can elect to use your “Alternative” or “Signature” name.
Webripples.com recommends that you use your real name if you wish to actively promote your cause with the highest possible credibility.
IMPORTANT NOTICE – Once you have posted a Webripple or added a Comment to another contributors’ Webripple, your chosen name and State/Country of residence will be shown against your entry regardless of changes to your Profile or even if you cancel your membership and/or Registration. Webripples and attached comments cannot be deleted and will remain available on the Webripples.com site.
During registration you are required to provide contact information (such as your email). We use this information to contact you about the services on our site in which you have expressed interest such as Membership confirmation emails and our Refer a Friend service.
You are also required to provide demographic information to us; we encourage you to submit this information accurately as it will be used to tabulate and analyse the Webripples voter responses and the Survey Statistics generated by the site.
The power that Webripples.com can place into your hands will come when you are able to accurately measure the response to your Webripples from your local and broader community to bring about real change concerning matters important to you.
All of the information provided by you at Registration will be stored on our secure servers and accessed by our systems to tabulate results and Analytics Reports. Third party owners of Student or Sponsored surveys will not be given access to this information. They will only receive raw summary statistical data that is essential to their needs.
When you become a FULL MEMBER of Webripples.com
When you become a Full Member of the site, you will continue to enjoy all of the activities of a Member while becoming eligible to participate in additional services, including:-
• Accessing and printing professional user defined Statistical Analysis Reports (Webripples Analyticals) covering the full analysis of votes cast for any and all Webripples posted on the site
• Subscribe to special RSS feeds to receive alerts when specific Webripples attract new votes and/or comments. Use this to keep track of important Webripples
• Gift Full Memberships to friends and relatives at a discounted price
• Full Members who are secondary or tertiary students can upload Surveys to the site and receive exclusive results from those surveys to benefit their chosen course. Results Data will be supplied in raw form to facilitate the student’s own analysis.
• Full Members who are organizations (Inc Companies, Clubs and Governments) can upload Sponsored Surveys to the site and receive exclusive results from those surveys to benefit their organisation’s business strategies. Results Data will be supplied in raw form to facilitate the organisation’s own analysis.

When you register to become a Full Member, you will be asked to enter the following information into a Membership Form:-
• Email Address and Password to link to your Member data.
• Full Residential Address
You will then be redirected to activate a Periodic Payment Authority through the services of PayPal or Worldpay.
Webripples.com will not collect or store your Credit Card details or have any access to your Credit Card information. Your residential address will be used only within the bounds of our provision of services to you and in keeping with the Terms of Use detailed here.
When you load your personal Profile
When you contribute either a Webripple or a Comment attached to another contributor’s Webripple, you may elect to attach your personal Profile to enable other visitors to the site to learn more about you and to encourage support for your ideas and even personal contact.
You will have full control over what your Profile displays, including Photographs and personal contact data, links to your club, association or organisation’s website as well as your general likes and dislikes.
When you prepare your profile you will be given the opportunity to attach your real name (the first and last name you supplied when you registered) or your “Alternative” or “Signature” name. Please remember your Profile will be attached to ALL Webripples and Comments you post. Please be consistent in how you chose to identify yourself.
You can edit your Profile at any time, updating, adding or deleting content. You also have the freedom to completely delete your profile if you wish to.
WARNING - Whenever you voluntarily post personal information in the public arena, such as forums, message boards, journals and web blogs, this information can be accessed by the public and can be used to send you unsolicited communications. Webripples joins with other reputable sites in recommending that you exercise discretion in deciding what information you disclose on the Internet. Webripples.com does not accept any responsibility whatsoever for problems you may experience from unwanted contact you may experience arising from identifiable information you chose to include on your Profile or in any photographs, videos or links you attach to your Profile or Webripples.

If you like what you see at Webripples.com, you can use the “Refer A Friend” tools available under the Login facility and next to every Webripple.
You will be asked to nominate friends and associates you wish to tell about this site. You will be asked to supply your friend’s full name and email address. You can enter these one at a time or download your web based email address book from Gmail, Yahoo and Hotmail accounts. We will send an Email telling them of the site and providing a URL link to the site.
Your friends will be directed in the first instance to the Registration page and invited to become Members. They can elect to register or not. They will then be taken to the Home Page or the Specific Webripple you are recommending.

As a Full Member you have the right to give 12 months Gift Memberships to friends and relatives, opening up all of the tools the site offers. These Gift Memberships are available at a discount. Tell me more.
You will be asked to nominate people you wish to give Gift memberships to. You will be asked to supply your friend’s full name and email address. You can enter these one at a time or download your web based email address book from Gmail, Yahoo and Hotmail accounts. We will send an Email telling them of your gift and providing a URL link to help them to visit the site to complete the registration process.
Your friends can elect to register or not.
The email we send will be from you! You will be able to insert a personal greeting into the email text.
We will retain personal information about your friend that you supply to enable us to assess the effectiveness of this service. This information will never be disclosed to third parties unless obliged to do so within the conditions outlined in this policy. After 12 months, an automatic email will be sent inviting your friend to continue as a Full member at their own ongoing cost.
As a Full Member you are able to create a Student Survey if you are currently a Secondary, Tertiary or Mature Age Student undertaking a recognized course at an identifiable Educational Institution, or a Sponsored Survey if you represent a Company, Organization, Club or Government.
You will be asked to supply the name and full contact details of the Educational Institution or Organisation you represent. At your option, these details may be published with your Survey.
Students must also supply details of a person in authority from their educational institution. You may do this as an Email attachment to your Survey Request. This will not be published, but will be retained for our records and we may contact this person to verify your eligibility to post a Student Survey at the subsidised price.
We will use this information, together with the identifiable information regarding all Educational Institutions and Organisations linked to Surveys, to assess the effectiveness of this service. We may from time to time make contact directly with the Educational Institution or Organisation to research attitudes towards the Webripples Service or to promote further involvement.
When creating a Survey, you can draft questions in any manner and attach one of a wide range of Answer Types we provide.
The content and topics of your Surveys must be in keeping with the Webripples.com Terms Of Use Policy.
Surveys will have a commencement date and a completion date, nominated by you in accordance with set guidelines shown on the Survey Loading page.
Survey answer data will be available to you through the Site Admin Panel using a personal ID number. You will be able to download a CSV or Excel file of the Raw data in order to complete your own analysis of the comprehensive Survey Answers built up from the Demographic (Non-Identifiable) Information we hold on all Members. You will not be able to identify Registered Members from this data.
Please note a FEE applies when you create a Survey. Refer to the “Create a Survey” page for details.
Members are able to take any of the Surveys available from time to time on the site.
Doing so will ensure that your opinions and preferences are taken into account by the Students who have posted Surveys as part of their education, or Organisations who seek public input to assist them to make the best decisions regarding their services and products.
Taking Surveys is a fun way to make your opinions matter. If you find a Survey you particularly enjoy, please be sure to tell your friends about it and invite them to take it too!
When you take a survey, the Demographic (Non-Identifiable) Information you supplied when you registered will be used to tabulate the response matrix.
The person who loaded the Survey will be able to see, for example, how many males, aged between 60 and 70 years, living in the USA, residing an a household of 1-2 persons, and living on a Pension, voted in a particular way in response to a particular question!
The person who loaded the Survey will not be able to identify you in any way.
We may, from time to time, send you an Email inviting you, as a Member of the Webripples.com Site, to take a specific Survey. We will do this to add randomness, and therefore increased credibility to the Survey results. We will do this in a way that ensures that you should not be frequently approached in this way. If you receive such a request, you will always be given an “OPT OUT” option.
Our Legal Obligations and your Privacy
Webripples.com will disclose your personal identifiable information if we are required to do so by law, regulation or other government authority either within our own countries of business operation or your country of residence. We will also act quickly to protect the rights and property of Webripples.com, it’s owners and the public. We will co-operate with law enforcement agencies in any official investigation and we will disclose your personal identifiable information to the relevant agency or authority in doing so.
Visitors to the Webripples.com site should take note that we will not hesitate to report any person using this site to commit or organize a criminal act.

We will only communicate in this way when we feel it may be important to you.
IMPORTANT NOTICE:- You may not opt-out of these communications, which are not promotional in nature. By submitting a registration request, you accept these communications as being essential to our providing you with our basic service. If you do not wish to receive them, you have the option to withdraw from registration or to cancel your membership.
Email Request to participate in Surveys
We may ask you to participate in Student or Sponsored Surveys to assist the authors to gather a more scientific random or targeted response from within our Webripples.com community.
If you chose to participate, these emails will include direct links to the particular survey. There will also be an “Opt Out” link if you do not wish to be invited in the future.
In the event Webripples.com goes through a business transition, such as a merger or acquisition by another company, your personally identifiable information will be transferred in part or whole to the new owners. You will be notified via email and a prominent notice on the Webripples.com site for 30 days of any such change in ownership or control of your personal information.
Our commitment to you: In the event that we do sell Webripples.com, honoring this Privacy Policy, would be a condition of said sale.
